The Skinny Lincolns employ only the finest,
plump, ripest actors to perform in their shows. These are
funny people, folks. Very funny people. The cast
is made up of SLC film and stage actors and comedians.
Cast member's film and television credits include Touched
by an Angel, Return to the Secret Garden, A Dog's Tale, the
Last Good War, Out of Step, Promised Land, Perfect Murder-Perfect
Town, In Time of Need, No Dogs Allowed, the Face on the Barroom
Floor, to name only a few.
Local and national TV and Radio advertising credits include
IBM, McDonalds, Dodge, Saturday Night Live, Nokia, Novell,
LDS Homefront ads, 3com, Central Bank, Zions Bank, Bank One,
Ballet West, Arctic Circle, and Chuckarama for starters.
The Skinny Lincolns was formed in Salt Lake City from 1998
to 2000 by Lincoln Hoppe, current
creative director of the Skinny Lincolns.
Lincoln Hoppe performed, directed, produced and wrote material
for 8 years with the famed Garrens Comedy Troupe. Lincoln
also studied improvisation extensively with the world-renowned
Groundlings
comedy troupe in Los Angeles, launching pad for the careers
of such greats as Phil Hartman, Lisa Kudrow, Jon Lovitz, Will
Ferrell, Chris Kattan, Paul Reubens, Pat Morita, Julia Sweeney,
Edie McClurg, Michael McDonald, Mike Hitchcock, and Chei Oteri
to name a few.
