Project Time with Discovery Dan

What is it? Simply put, Project Time is an educational comedy show. It’s Bill Nye the Science Guy for more modern times. 

In 2014 Lincoln was hired to write and create a pilot for a show that could make learning fun by Studies Weekly, an educational company.

This would make yet another awesome partnership between Director/Writer/Producer Loki Mulholland and Actor/Writer Lincoln Hoppe.

Targeted at elementary school kids, Project Time would quickly delight thousands of students and teachers Nationwide. Open rates for emails including video links would soar, and kids would request, even insist on watching more Project Time videos.

Because of budgetary constraints, the pilot was written to include a cast of many played by one actor. The effect tested well enough that when a much bigger budget came through for the series, the choice was made to keep with the entire cast of the show played by Lincoln… for comedic reasons. 28 main episodes were ordered over the course of 2 years, with several specials and additional content created.
